Mechanical isobaric filler for PET Bottles

The Sacmi  VSF machine is ideal for ideal for the filling of carbonated and non carbonated beverages in PET bottles.

How it works

The bottles are handled by the neck, so that during the production of containers with different size, but same finish, change over time is minimized. The filling technology is isobaric level type. The deflection on the bottle walls occurs through deflector. The level in the bottle is defined by gas return vent tube (rapid release replacement). All filling cycle phases are managed through mechanical drives, controlled by cams.


Product delivery occurs through annular tank (spotlessly polished and with inclined bottom) under which the filling valves have been fitted. Decompression occurs through a manifold. The dummy bottles must be introduced and extracted manually. The guards have been installed on the floor and manufactured in polycarbonate and stainless steel.


Sacmi VSF has been designed in order to obtain a minimized and facilitated maintenance. These are some of the solutions employed:

  • The product distributor has been equipped with mechanical seal, thus eliminating the higher wear of the slipping gaskets
  • The filling valve can be taken off from the carousel in less than 30 seconds
  • Completely mechanical operation
