Indian Ceramics is back (6-8 April 2022), with SACMI quality, versatility and energy-saving solutions set to play a central role

After a two-year hiatus, Indian Ceramics is back, offering a great opportunity to meet up with our Indian customers. Even during these two tough years, they’ve continued to reward SACMI technology, products and services by pushing ahead with numerous Continua+ projects and making use of the direct production and assistance supplied by SACMI Engineering.

Solid market positioning, a local facility - SACMI Engineering - supplying in-country assistance and production, plus steadily growing technology sales, largely thanks to the Continua+ machine family: these are the hallmarks of SACMI’s standing in India. And now, the company is gearing up to attend the 16th edition of Indian Ceramics (6-8 April 2022, The Exhibition Center, Gandhinagar, Gujarat State).

Sacmi is looking forward to getting back together with our customers after the two-year stop caused by the health emergency. The event takes place against a backdrop of multiple installations of the new Continua+ lines, made up of a machine family that offers the lowest consumption on the market and unbeatable versatility for managing different sizes and thicknesses.
Like industries all over the world, the Indian ceramic sector is extremely attentive to energy costs. With SACMI, they have found technologies and services that allow them to maintain tip-top product quality while optimizing costs and consumption. Hence the decision to invest in SACMI’s Continua+ machine family. Over the last two years, the range has expanded to include new models that meet every possible production requirement, with a sharp focus on optimized management of the market’s latest, most popular new formats.

Moreover, sustainability, versatility and performance extend beyond forming to the other stages of the ceramic process. Yet again, SACMI combines comprehensive, optimized technologies for every stage of the process with integrated plant engineering solutions to manage and retrieve the factory’s thermal waste; this even allows some machines (such as dryers) to operate on a ‘zero fuel’ basis.
A leading automation provider, SACMI will also be showcasing its complete sanitaryware and tableware range at Indian Ceramics. These will include solutions that focus on sustainability (water and energy savings, zero waste) and increased quality, through wider use of robots in the glazing process.
Alongside SACMI Engineering’s customer assistance services, supplied through the Morbi and Mumbai warehouses in India, customers can count on direct production of machines such as spray dryers and dryers at the Ahmedabad factory; in-country manufacturing allows us to provide an enhanced response to customer needs on a market of strategic significance to the Group’s growth prospects.
Much more than a local showcase, Indian Ceramics is expected to attract over 300 exhibitors from India, Europe, China and beyond, not to mention at least 8,000 visitors. The SACMI team look forward to welcoming you to the Group's exhibition area (Hall 2, Booth C-201) and illustrating all the latest cutting-edge solutions.
