Leading manufacturer in South Africa of sanitaryware products, Betta Sanitaryware consolidates its partnership with SACMI thanks to the purchase of a new AVE040 Plus. With this supply, the number of SACMI high-pressure casting machines installed at the South African company reaches 32 including the ALS supplied in 2018 for the production of washbasins, water tanks and pedestals.

The AVE040 Plus has set a new standard on the market for the manufacture of complex WC bowls thanks to a unique combination of special features - from its more compact structure to its greater depth - which serve to simplify maintenance and make mould removal, movement and replacement easier to carry out.

Higher productivity, simplicity of maintenance and versatility for the handling of different types of articles are the hallmarks of this solution, which has already been supplied to one of the top international companies operating in the sector and has been tested, with great success, at the factories of several different customers around the world over the last few months.

Among the other advantages of the AVE040 Plus is the fact that the mould opening operations are now managed independently through the pneumatic system that replaces the electro-mechanical drive systems. The multi-mould platform supplied to Betta Sanitaryware also includes an automatic system for demoulding 4 WC bowls at the same time and, finally, a deposit conveyor belt to assist with the piece ageing process.

With this supply, which is the latest in a series of 13 AVE (as well as other AVM, AOM and ALS casting machines) installed and running at their production site in Krugersdorp, Betta Sanitaryware confirms its place at the top of the market both in terms of production capacity – which now exceeds 2 million pieces per year – and as regards its attention to technological innovation having invested once more in quality, reliability and performance with SACMI Sanitaryware machinery.
